EN 1177 - Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing
European Standard DIN EN 1177 issued by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), specifies the requirements for surfacing to be used on children's playgrounds and specific requirements for areas where impact attenuation is necessary.

* If loose particulate material is used, it stall be installed to a layer thickness of 200 mm more than that found by laboratory testing to be necessary to achieve the required critical fall test.
